Forever in Art is a creative hub where ideas take flight.
Shauna Madsen is a multi-disciplinary artist, and the lead artist at Forever in Art with over forty years of experience in bringing her clients' visions, sentiments, and intentions into reality. She left the business world in 2022 to focus her full-time attention on art and writing. She creates personalized, custom pieces on canvas, in concrete and clay, and commission paintings that capture her clients' visions. Shauna considers her process to be problem solving as much as creating, and relishes a good challenge.
The idea of adding Moss Art to her collection of creations came out of her love of nature and taps into 30 years of experience as an award winning floral designer.

About Shauna
Shauna Madsen lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with her two dachshunds, Cricket and Cookie.
Shauna's deep-rooted passion for animals is not just a theme in her art, but a part of her life. Growing up in the countryside, she was surrounded by a menagerie of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, horses, and even a pet crow named Herbie Miller. She is never without a pet and has adopted many senior dogs, and why she's had 22 pets - so far. This personal connection to her subjects is what brings her art to life. She is renowned for her portrait work, which captures not just a pet's likeness but also her subjects' personality and character.
Shauna's artistic journey is a testament to her dedication and passion. She sold her first piece of art, a pencil drawing of an old barn, at the young age of 16. Her work has since been showcased in numerous shows across the province and graces homes and businesses worldwide. After a successful 30-year career as a serial entrepreneur, she made the bold decision to shift her focus to her studio full-time in 2022. This transition allowed her to fully immerse herself in her art, leading to the publication of her first book, The Wealthy Peasant. Even during the pandemic, she continued to explore new artistic avenues, learning to make moulds for her concrete work and expanding her line of pet memorial pieces.
