Elbows Up $50,000 for Charity
I am honoured and proud that Jay-Co Welding bid $50,000 on my painting, Elbows Up during the live auction at the annual Kevin Karius Celebrity Golf Classic in July.
I painted this to honour Canada’s strength and independent spirit. The title, Elbows Up, is a nod to Canadian tenacity—a quiet yet firm gesture of standing one's ground, wings spread in defence and dignity.
The original may have sold for $50,000, but we've made the reproductions affordable with only 158 limited edition archival canvases available - marking each year since Confederation with a unique, numbered tribute to Canada's enduring identity. Signed and numbered, each painting includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a Story Card.
Elbows Up also marks the beginning of my new series, an exploration of resilience and symbolism through iconic animal narratives. Each piece in the series will offer a fresh lens on sovereignty, strength, and spirit.

Story Card
Every artwork carries a deeper thread—an origin, an intention, and a meaning that extends beyond the canvas. The story card included with Elbows Up is designed to preserve and share that narrative. It offers collectors insight into the inspiration behind the piece, the symbolism woven into the imagery, and the creative journey that brought it to life.
This story card adds context and emotional resonance, transforming the artwork from a visual experience into a complete artistic encounter. It helps owners connect more deeply with the piece, understand its significance within my body of work, and appreciate the values and themes it represents. For future generations, it also becomes an important part of the artwork’s provenance, contributing to its authenticity and legacy.

Hand-painted Pet Portraits
A pet portrait is a very special gift for any pet parent. My specialty is capturing the personality in every portrait I paints.
Dogs, cats, horses, cows and bearded dragons have been subjects in my portfolio recently, and I love them all.
Every piece is painted and varnished on professional grade gallery wrapped canvas using the highest quality of acrylic paint and UV protective finish.
Sculptures
I love to capture a pet's gesture or personality in clay, and in some projects, I tell a story by combining a variety of materials.
With your idea and a touch of imagination and skill, pretty much anything is possible.
To see special projects I've created for an Indigenous group, go to my page, Projects & Processes.
Moss Art
Preserved Moss Art provides a touch of the outdoors. Maintenance free, your Moss Art will last for many years to come.
I feature a few pieces at the market, and create custom pieces to fit any space.
I will create a custom piece to fit any space, using all natural material, including, moss, bark, wood, rock, preserved plants and mushrooms.
I also sculpt amphibians or lady bugs in clay and add them for a special touch.
